Cody Black Music Director KJAE FM 93.5 Leesville, La

Awesome live in studio performance! Thanks so much for coming to Louisiana to perform for us this morning. I know it was early!!! You guys are awesome and will go as far as you can dream. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help. To all the other radio programmers out there, do your listeners a favor and get a copy of this disc and put it in heavy rotation! The phone response was overwhelming to say the least. We (like most radio stations) get hundreds of cd's a day and thousands of requests to play indie music. Most (99.8%) of it is bad, so, it is a real breath of fresh air to find someone of your caliber. Thanks again, Cody Black KJAE FM 93.5

Read the latest review from Bob Morrison—4-time ASCAP Songwriter Of The Year NSAI songwriter Of The Year Grammy-Award winner “You Decorated My Life” Co-writer: “Lookin’ for Love”
"Every now and then someone walks into your life that is a cut above the ordinary—someone with a little something special. Dixie Trahan was one such someone. Larry Rogers, a record producer friend of mine, called me and asked if I could work with Dixie on a song for a project Larry was putting together for her. Larry, a man of few words, simply said: “She’s good…” We met and after a little get-acquainted small talk, she started to sing and I was instantly hooked. Her voice was pure, and on pitch as though she might already be a star. Though we worked together a couple of times and did not complete the song for the album, my opinion did not change. She had it.

I waited anxiously for the album to be finished, knowing that a song I was a co-writer on, “A New Moon an Old Flame and You” would be one of the tracks. When I finally got a copy, I wasn’t disappointed. “New Moon” has that dreamy, sweet feel that is not that easy to capture. Larry got that feel on the tracks, Dixie hit all the right notes emotionally. That’s not all. I have to admit there are lots of other gems on this record. “Too Far Gone,” “Show Me How,” are standouts as is “I Would’ve Missed You” There is a lot here to enjoy. Great job, Dixie. I hope a lot of people find you and this little gem….

Read the latest review from Rod Kittleman of 99 Hit FM in Springfield MO. "Theres a new Dixie chic in town who's only agenda is to blow the doors off Country Music. Dixie Trahan will have country radio listeners turning up the volume and calling the request line.

Producer Larry Rogers knows what it takes to produce a hit and he has several on this CD. There's a little something sweet in the this girls voice and its all pure ear candy !"

Read the review from Dean Kay, member of the Board of Directors of ASCAP and NMPA, "It's not fair to make a grown man cry but that's exactly what Dixie Trahan's heart wrenching vocals did to me as she delivered what I consider the performance of the year..." click to read more
